My name is CJ; my friends call me Ceej.

I was born when the Beatles were still together and I grew up in Bloomington, MN. My parents were teachers and my brother was occasionally... difficult. (He's pretty great now.)

I got my BA in Elementary Education at the University of Sioux Falls College.

Eventually, I moved to Des Moines, IA. I stayed there longer than anyone in their right mind would.

I moved to Iowa City where I got my MA in Library and Information Science from the University of Iowa.

I'm in Minneapolis now, driving city bus.

I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up. But if I learned anything from my brief stint in junior high as a basement-league professional wrestler, it's that if you call yourself The Grunt, you're gonna lose.
